As Caesar Creek Flea Market improves the shopper experience, new General Manager Mary Burr is already planning family-friendly events through the Fall.

“When we think about making the market a destination, we absolutely want to give shoppers something fun to engage with while they bargain hunt,” said Burr. “Live music, DIY crafts, and good food will add up to a fun family memory.”

Burr has over 20 years of event planning experience with Xenia Gazette, Busy Bee Café, and Xenia Chamber of Commerce. Her experience is not alone in informing her strategy. The event platform, Bizzabo, reported in 2017 that 95% of marketers agree that live events provide attendees with a valuable opportunity to form in-person connections in an increasingly digital world.

“That’s really what we’re all about at our markets,” said Al Bell, President and CEO of parent company Levin Service Co. “Families deserve a place to make memories and have a great time looking for a deal beyond shopping online.”

The next event at Caesar Creek Flea Market is the 4th of July Flea Spectacular on Saturday, July 1, 2018, from 11 to 3. Enjoy summer in the country in our indoor and outdoor markets. Discover vintage items to complete your 4th of July party decor or be inspired to revive an old piece of American history. Activities include a $5 DIY Mason Jar Lantern Workshop at 11:30 with Samy Rowe at 11:30 and FREE Kids Handprint Firework Art. The market will also have live bluegrass music, food trucks and Kona Ice, photobooth, and LuLaRoe Mobile Boutique by LuLaRoe Ashlee Marie.
